I'm a student engineer at the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center. I thought someone on this list serve may have some suggestions for Mr. Pascal.

Lori;
    I just left you a voice mail and then I found your e-mail. I'm Art
Pascal with the KY Department of Criminal Justice Training. We have at the
Police Academy here in Richmond, a "Lead Free" firing range that produces as an end product from the target backstop Copper and Zinc residue. (my voice mail said brass it's actually copper). It is small bits of the spent bullet
plus powder and granuals. Although I believe it is not an enviromental
hazzard, we just can't dump it in the dumpster. We would like to recycle it
for the state if we could find a vendor who would want to buy it. If not
just a safe place to dispose of the material on a quarterly or semiannual
basis. We have an estimate of 3 tons or 24 thirty gallon buckets. I hope
you can give me some suggestions. Thank you. Art
