Good Afternoon everyone

Just thought I would drop a line to introduce myself

I am the Logistics Group Environmental Coordinator for Tyndall AFB, as such
I am responsible for approximately 47 shops and several hundred people using
hundreds of chemicals in dozens of processes.  ( ACK! )

I have been doing this job for about a year and had never realized work
could be this much fun.  I finally have a job where my boss isn't yelling at
me to sit down and shut up!

Currently getting ready to implement an alternative to the procurement and
disposal of fuel/oil absorbent materials by using a recycling company...at a
savings of (estimated) $ 23,000 a year..and a waste stream reduction of
35,000 pounds. ...not bad for my first try....lets not talk about how long
it took to figure out how to prove it ok....let me keep a few of my
illusions...

Also working a few other issues....got to earn my keep ya know


I am looking forward to learning anything I can from the people on this
list.  (read picking your brains)
