forwarded me information on a "National Electronic Equipment Management &
Compliance Assistance Workshop in Atlanta, GA - 23-24 Sept 02. It appears
there is "no cost" to the workshop to you -- other than your normal travel
costs to/from the workshop! FYI and potential interest in registration and
attendance!!!!!
One correction from my E-Mail (same subject) sent yesterday afternoon.
EPA Region 4 informed me today that there is a $75 registration fee.

Background:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Region IV, in
association with the Southern Waste Information eXchange, Inc. (SWIX),
is sponsoring a workshop on this important topic. The purpose of this
workshop is to educate interested individuals, organizations, and
businesses about issues and information related to this subject by
bringing industry and government representatives together to discuss the
development of a shared responsibility framework, policies, markets, and
programs for the appropriate end-of-life management of electronic
equipment and to outline state and Federal electronic equipment
management regulations and policies.
