The National Pollution Prevention Roundtable (NPPR) 2002 Spring
Conference http://www.p2.org/events/ is being held from April 2- 5,
2002, in the heart of Portland, Oregon and will focus on the latest in
pollution prevention (P2) policy, regulatory and technical innovations
and sustainability practices.
Plenary sessions will feature lawmakers and other high-ranking
government officials as well as P2 experts who will talk about how P2
and sustainability can be included into Federal policies. Full agenda

7th Annual Joint Services Pollution Prevention & Hazardous Waste
Management Conference and Exhibition (Aug 19-22 '02)

open forum for exchanging ideas, success stories, case histories and
technologies related to pollution prevention and hazardous waste
management.
Through open communication, this conference seeks to unite government,
academia, industry, and for the first time, the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency and state environmental agencies in a combined effort
to implement essential pollution prevention/hazardous waste management
objectives.
To be considered for the program, abstracts must be prepared and

GUIDELINES
Abstracts must be submitted electronically on this web site. A printable
confirmation page will confirm a successful submission. Once abstracts
are received, the titles will be posted on this page.

FORMAT
Title: The title of the abstract must be captured in 10 words or fewer.
Objective: Provide a concise objective of your paper in 50 words or
fewer. This will be published in the program.
Content: Since numerous abstracts will be submitted, it is important
that the abstract clearly and concisely outline the objective, scope of
work, results, lessons learned, and conclusions. Preference will be
given to those abstracts that provide a concise and thorough summary of
the project objectives and results. Abstracts with a strong commercial
slant will be rejected.
Length: Abstracts must be written in English and under 300 words.
Presentation Options: Submission must be appropriate for a 20- minute
oral presentation with a 5 minute Q&A.
Review: Abstracts received by the March 8, 2002 deadline will be
reviewed for technical merit, currency, and relevance to the conference.
Authors will be notified of abstract and poster acceptance by April 19,
2002.
