[Dodp3] pollution prevention conference focused on the electronics sector

If you have a growing problem with electronic equipment and are looking for
ideas this conference should be of interest. We have arranged with NPPR to
extend the early registration fee for DOD partnership members (anyone on
this list serve).  The agenda is at the link below.
On January 30-31, 2003, the Region III Pollution Prevention Roundtable will
hold its annual Mid-Atlantic Winter Conference at Camden Yards in Baltimore
Maryland. The meeting will focus on providing the latest pollution
prevention information and case studies focused on the electronics sector.
The conference will take a unique approach, exploring how pollution
prevention can be incorporated into all facets of the life cycle of
electronics equipment including supply chain, manufacturing, and retail. The
conference will present effective approaches and tools to help promote P2 in
the electronics industry. The technical assistance and information from the
sessions will focus on a variety of areas including green procurement,
energy efficiency programs and sustainability initiatives as they relate to
the high technology sector.
