Good day P2assist Colleagues,
In regard to the inquiry about employee incentives for =
recycling....I have worked with a number of clients that cycle the money =
generated through the sale of recyclables, back to the employees. Some =
companies even calculate the money they have saved in reduced tipping =
fees and give that money to an employee fund.
Oftentimes, the revenues and savings are set aside for such events =
as:
a.. Annual employee picnic
b.. Special benefit funds (extended illness fund for employees, etc.)
c.. Donation to charities
d.. Employee Of The Month awards
One of our clients combined the revenues and savings from its waste =
reduction program and used the money to purchase screen printed Tee =
shirts with the company's recycling theme logo for every employee.=20
On a smaller scale, some businessess offer incentives in the form of =
special prizes monthly to the employee that comes up with the best waste =
reduction idea or for the employee that is the most active in the waste =
reduction program. Prizes could include such things as an "All-day" =
lollipop, a specially printed ball cap with a recycling theme or simply =
a gift certificate for a steak dinner or pizza.
In short, ideas for employee recycling incentive programs are only =
limited by your imagination and the company's committment to make waste =
reduction a viable part of daily business.
Thanks for the inquiry. Please keep them coming, team!
Best wishes,
Tom
