[P2assist] Light Pollution

One of my co-workers is very interested in light pollution. I know that
this is an area that is receiving a lot of attention from the astronomy
clubs and associations.
Does anyone have any information on what North Carolina is doing (in
particular, the Greensboro area) to minimize light pollution?
