On WRAL this week, they said they are working with Community in Schools to
collect school supplies for underprivileged children. I know many of us are
always looking to get rid of old 3-ring binders. I called the coordinator
for Wake County, Terry Nichols @ 872-5885 x 110 and she said they would
gladly accept old 3-ring binders. If you have large quantities they can
pick them up or you can drop them off at their storage space off Poole
Road. Call her for more information or look at the web page below. There
are collection sites throughout the State and all sorts of school supplies
are needed.
