Hi Linda,
Thanks for the inquiry. The "Recycling Information" category of
DPPEA's web page http://www.p2pays.org/ is chock full o' information for the
serious home recycler. Click here to see the section
http://www.p2pays.org/category.asp?cat=5 The links on this page cover a
range of waste reduction and recycling subjects, including: Composting, Junk
Mail, Buy Recycled, Home Repair, Recycled Products and much more. I do hope
this helps. Also, please remind your block leaders that the P2Assist
Listserv is a good networking resource that may can be of value to them.
Best wishes,
Tom

Hello friends,
One of our Recycling Block Leaders sent me the email below. I think they're
really starting a great thing & hope that some of you our there can provide
some specific ideas and/or resources to help them out. Any comments or
suggestions are welcome!

Excerpt:
"I'm involved with a ministry at my church. Our parish is about 12,000
families strong (unofficial estimate). We are starting a ministry called
EarthCare. We would like to have some help getting this off the ground. We
met, found that there are an awful lot of recycling/conservation issues and
are feeling a bit overwhelmed...without direction. Our first mission is to
do a Reuse table and have some things available (to look at) after all the
masses. Do you know where we could get some help (general) and/or assistance
with finding practical, easy Reuse things to do at home?
Another thing we are looking for is a speaker who could talk to the
community about the spiritual aspect of recycling/reuse. Would you know of
anyone?
Thank you for your time. Any assistance you can offer would be appreciated.
Shelley
