The state gave Granville County a grant for a similar project involving sale
of manufactured compost bins and distribution of instructions on building
bins at home. Jason Falls, recycling coordinator for that county, would

Hi everyone,
 
I am looking for some advice from those with experience in holding a truck
load sale for either Earth Machines or a similar backyard compost bin.
 
I have been in contact with the Earth Machine rep a few times and I know
there are other companies out there, but I don't know about dedicating so
much time to a truck load sale so that their company can turn a profit.  I
educate and encourage my residents to compost and give them suggestions for
the different methods.  I know a bin like the Earth Machine is easy to use,
but I cannot justify supporting one specific company.
 
If you have experiences you can share I would appreciate it.
