[P2assist] reminder of workshop on community participation in solid waste management

This is a reminder for the upcoming workshop on June 22nd.  The
registration deadline is June 19th.  Please note that lunch will be
provided and that there will be a display table area for community
organization materials and other displays.  There will also be childcare
available for those who might need it.  Hope to see you there!

  A free workshop for:
  Community organizations and other non-profits
  Local government officials
  Solid waste management staff
  Concerned individuals
  State agency personnel
  
  · Discuss the importance of involving communities in solid waste
  management decisions
  · Learn what the Division of Waste Management is doing to require
  community input into the solid waste facility permit process
  · Contribute to a discussion on lessons learned by communities who   have
dealt with difficult solid waste issues
  · Develop strategies to build community awareness and influence the
  policy process

  From Chapel Hill and points North of Pittsboro:
  Take 15-501 South to Pittsboro.  At the traffic circle around the
  courthouse turn off onto 64 West.  Go ½ mile to your 1st traffic light,
turn left onto Rte. 902.  Go 0.2 miles and turn right onto Old Goldston Rd.
 Go 0.3 miles and turn right onto Alston Chapel Rd.  Alston Chapel is 1.8
miles from the turn on the right.
  
  From points south of Pittsboro:
  Take 15-501 North to Pittsboro. At the traffic circle around the
  courthouse turn off onto 64 West.  Go ½ mile to your 1st traffic light,
turn left onto Rte. 902.  Go 0.2 miles and turn right onto Old Goldston Rd.
 Go 0.3 miles and turn right onto Alston Chapel Rd.  Alston Chapel is 1.8

  From Raleigh and points East of Pittsboro:
  Take the I-440 beltline to 64 West toward Pittsboro. Take the Pittsboro
and Hwy 64 Business exit to bring you into Pittsboro. At the traffic circle
around the courthouse continue on 64 West.  Go ½ mile to your 1st traffic
light, turn left onto Rte. 902.  Go 0.2 miles and turn   right onto Old
Goldston Rd.  Go 0.3 miles and turn right onto Alston   Chapel Rd. Alston
Chapel is 1.8 miles from the turn on the right.
  
  From Greensboro and points West of Pittsboro:
  From I-40 take US Hwy 421 South toward Siler City. Take the exit for  Hwy
64. Turn left onto 64 East to Pittsboro.  Take the exit for   Pittsboro and
Hwy 64 Business. At your first stoplight in Pittsboro, at    the
intersection of 64 with 902 and 87, turn right onto 902. Go 0.2  miles and
turn right onto Old Goldston Rd.  Go 0.3 miles and turn right   onto Alston
Chapel Rd. Alston Chapel is 1.8 miles from the turn on the  right.
