Subject: [P2assist] Rubber recycling
A business in Roxboro will be die cutting the scrap rubber off the insoles,
which is a
considerable volume of material. They are wondering of there is some
alternative to landfill disposal. Evidently the material is difficult if not
impossible to grind as far as they have been told. They are looking at $800+
in monthly disposal fees which is a big hit for such a small outfit. Plus,
the material is inert and a shame to put in a landfill.
Do you know of any recycling or re-use possibilities ?
thanks
