Dear Ms. Blindt,
>From your description below, it sounds like your looking for the kind of
small above ground tank that maybe a full service gas station or a repair
garage would have, for storing their waste oil for pick-up. Its likely you
have checked with such places in Albermarle to see who their
vendors/suppliers are. A second possibility, and likely at a cheaper cost,
is to get used tanks from garages that have closed. The DENR Division of
Waste Management, Underground Storage Section can check their data base to
see what stations have closed and turned in their UST permits (as permits
for underground storage tanks have to be renewed every year). The general
UST Section number is 919/ 733-8486, and a good contact the UST permits unit
is Annette Parker at 919/ 733-1308.

Can someone recommend a double-walled waste oil collection tank? We need a
few in the range of 200 - 500 gallon size. Looking for something well under
$1,000 each. Have some Chem-Tainers already. Any suggestions?
