***PALLET RECYCLING WORKSHOP***
N.C. State University, Wake County, the N.C. Division of Pollution
Prevention and Environmental Assistance, and the USDA Forest Service
will conduct a workshop sponsored by Wake County on PALLET RECYCLING in
Raleigh on October 28, 2002. This workshop, which is part of the second
"Go Green, Save Green" Recycling Workshop conducted by Wake County, will
offer information on wood waste reduction by discussing profitable
opportunities to recover, repair, reuse, and recycle wooden pallets.
Opportunities to make products such as flooring, paneling and furniture
from used pallet parts will also be discussed. This workshop should be
of high interest to industrial pallet users, pallet recyclers, landfill
operators, woodworkers and government employees.
