regarding the upcoming workshop on pallet recycling:

TRIAD - September 18, 2002		
Workshop Description: North CarolinaStateUniversity's Wood Products
Extension and Regional Government Agencies in conjunction with NC DPPEA and
the USDA Forest Service will conduct a Pallet Recycling Workshop on
September 18, 2002 in Greensboro, NC. This pallet recycling workshop is
targeted at pallet users, pallet manufacturers and recyclers, entrepreneurs
looking for new business opportunities, and government administrators.
Topics covered include the use, repair, and recycling of pallets,
opportunities for entrepreneurs in this area, how to recover wood from used
pallets and produce value-added products such as flooring, paneling, and
furniture. Also, support available from the state and local government for
pallet users and entrepreneurs will be discussed. The workshop offers the
opportunity to network and to exchange ideas.
